Pastor Gary W. Holland is a native of Roanoke Virginia. He is the son of the late Richard B. Holland and the late Sarah A. Holland. He is married to Sharon Holland and has two children, a son, the late Minister Michael Holland, and a daughter, Deacon Garie Bratton. He has seven grandchildren. Pastor Gary W. Holland is a graduate from West Virginia State University where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. He has credits towards his Masters from the University of Virginia in Counseling. He also has credits toward his Master of Divinity from The University of Virginia at Lynchburg and Liberty University. Pastor Gary W. Holland has served the Roanoke valley as a teacher, coach, & counselor. Now he serves in the name of our Lord Jesus the Christ. Pastor Gary Holland was licensed to preach the Gospel on March 14, 1999. He was ordained as Assistant Pastor of Trinity Missionary Baptist Church on March 18, 2007. On August 23, 2007 Trinity Missionary Baptist Church was led by God to Elect Rev. Holland as Pastor. He was installed as Pastor October 21, 2007. He is presently the President of the Baptist Minister’s Conference of Roanoke, Salem, Vinton, and Southwest Virginia and former secretary. He is also the Coordinating secretary of the Valley Baptist Association. Pastor Holland is a man who exemplifies Godly character and leadership. His strong prayer life and faith in God reflect a life of devotion to God, to the principles of His word, and to meeting the needs of people. He is most content when he is motivating people and ministering to their needs through the Word of God. As Ephesians 4:11 says God “gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some pastors and teachers”. Pastor Holland is a servant called to love God and the people of God.
